In an effort to reduce our environmental impact, we have also proudly integrated the following into our workflow:

• Vegetable-oil based inks that emit low levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
• No use of Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA).
• Full-time stochastic printing proven to use 20% less ink than conventional printing.
• A CTP system with a simple, one-step plate developing process that produces less waste than most other systems.

In 2008 we established the Acuity Eco-Sustainability Award at Ryerson University's School of Graphic Communications – $5,000 to the most innovative group project developing greener technologies or processes.
